Mid-century modern basement remodel with rustic brickwork and stunning tiled walls

Just around the corner from Crabapple Street, Foothill Circle is in the foothills of Golden, CO. This mid-century ranch home needed a lower-level remodel to turn it into a more functional space for a family of four with two growing kids who were begging for their own hangout space. The parents needed to update their bedroom, bathroom, laundry, storage space, and office areas to better suit their needs. The new mid-century modern style basement features a basement bar, a new seating area with a custom-built white quartz table, and a full bathroom with a white and back Kavala tile walk-in shower. In the bar area, an exposed red brick wall provides visual interest. Finally, the custom-built walnut slatted stairway wall integrates into the floor plan by providing a transition between the bar area to the living room area.
