White and black modern farmhouse kitchen with industrial design accents

The bones of this kitchen were good but needed some slight updates to match the persona and lifestyle of this young Colorado family. In redesigning the kitchen, we kept the original perimeter cabinets in place but freshened them up with bright white paint. We added a large central kitchen island with leather bar stool seating, teal shiplap, and a stunning white apron farmhouse sink. Finally, we updated all the kitchen hardware and fixtures, including the modern, industrial globe pendant lights, to a matte black finish. Their new modern farmhouse style kitchen speaks to its family and is a great host for their everyday life.
