A little love for design can go a long way. Long before she ever drafted a floor plan, Jenny Murphy was shaping spaces—building mud forts as a young child in rural Colorado and thoughtfully arranging them for how they’d be lived in, played in, and shared.
Even then, she understood something essential: good design isn’t just about how a space looks, but how it functions and feels.
Born and raised in Western Colorado, Jenny went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design from Colorado State University. During her studies, she spent time abroad in Florence, Italy at Florence University of the Arts—an experience that deeply influenced her appreciation for historic architecture, preservation, and the layered stories homes carry through time. That foundation shaped her belief that the most meaningful interiors honor where a home has been, while thoughtfully guiding where it’s going.
After graduating, Jenny spent nearly a decade working within design + build firms across Colorado, gaining hands-on experience not only in interior design, but in architecture, construction management, and the building process as a whole. This holistic understanding allows her to design spaces that are not only beautiful, but grounded, functional, and buildable—bridging the gap between vision and execution.
At the heart of Jenny’s work is the belief that a home has the power to quietly improve daily life. Through a mindful, wellness-focused approach to interior architecture and design, she creates spaces that feel refined yet deeply personal—homes that remain true to their original spirit while supporting the rhythms of modern living. Whether working on a historic renovation, a thoughtful addition, or a new build, her goal is always the same: to design spaces that feel balanced, storied, and lived-in from the very beginning.
When she’s not designing for clients throughout Fort Collins, Denver, and across Colorado, Jenny can often be found restoring and remodeling her own historic farmstead in the foothills just outside Fort Collins. She finds inspiration in slowed-down living—homesteading, baking sourdough, growing food, and spending time with her beloved “farm-ily”: Pancake the miniature horse, Ringo the miniature donkey, Moby the Bernese Mountain Dog, Dolcetta the cat, and an ever-growing flock of chickens.
This grounding connection to land, craft, and home life weaves its way into every project, shaping interiors that feel intentional, timeless, and quietly nurturing.
