Modern Home Renovation in Denver
We are so happy to finally bring the full reveal of this modern home renovation in Denver – our Hudson Street project. We have been giving some sneak peeks over on Instagram but wanted to share it all right here including some before photos to see the incredible transformation this home underwent.
This project, located in the Mayfair neighborhood in Denver was a whole-home remodel with no corner left untouched. The goal was to achieve a modern minimalist space yet maintain some elements of the classic design that was integral to the home’s architecture.
The Design
The home initially showcased classical architecture at its core, but the clients desired a more contemporary update. Our task involved updating all interior finishes to align with their modern style while preserving the timeless charm.
Dining + Entry
By eliminating window shutters and incorporating a lighter wall color throughout, we successfully infused the space with an abundance of natural light.

The Master Suite
When tackling some of the more involved spaces for renovation like the kitchen and primary bathroom, we had to make some interior architecture modifications to be able to improve those spaces.
We kept all of the design very simple and functional but made sure to add subtle features like the white oak display to create warmth and interest in the space.
When we started on the plans for the primary suite we knew we were going to have to move some walls. The space had an awkwardly large bedroom space but then had a tiny closet and very dated bathroom. We ended up moving walls and changed the location of the bathroom entrance to make better use of the space.
The Kitchen
The kitchen originally had a wall that enclosed an unused desk space built into the kitchen and a nearly unusable island (not exactly what you want when trying to create a functional space) In order to solve this problem we removed that wall and reimagined that space to create a large central island in the hub of the home.
The end result is a stunning fully remodeled home that elegantly blends modern aesthetics with the essence of a classic design, aptly named “The Modern Classic.”
