The idea for this transitional-style kitchen remodel came from some dated wallpaper soffits and a too-small kitchen island. In the new kitchen design, old meets new. Light neutral grey cabinets pair wonderfully with a dark-stained kitchen island. A lovely traditional farmhouse sink is balanced by the modern caged pendant light. White oak hardwood flooring sits alongside modern stainless steel appliances. The result? A light + bright transitional kitchen full of subtle but classic details.
